Wow, Elac has released a new $1200 a pair bookshelf speakers that does some things better than the $1600 Kef Meta.
Steve Guttenberg has done a comparison....check it out. However, he wired his speaker wires to the bass posts on Elac so the veiling jumper was lowering the detail of its mid/highs. He should have put his speaker wire into the top post (If you use these speakers the best sound will come from bi-wiring so the bass back EMF is not affecting the mid-highs nearly as much). None the less, an interesting comparison. So, I will be doing serious mods to the Elac speaker as well. Basically, the same type of mods I am doing to the Kef LS50 Meta.....but an option for two pairs of WBT binding posts. First person who sends me a pair will get a nice discount.
