Design differences between the EVS amps and Nord amps.
Nord is a very good company making good amps out of the UK using the IceEdge class D modules.  Below are some design differences between the amps.

Nord sells an IceEdge amp that uses one stereo module.  If you get all their options including better wire, input jacks, output jacks and AC wire it will cost you betweem $1650 and $1800 delivered to the US.  You have a 14 day trail period and if you do not like them you have to pay shipping back to them and lose shipping to you (at least $125 loss).

My dual mono stereo amps are $2000 plus shipping but you have 30 days in house to listen and if you do not want to buy it I even pay back the original shipping to you.  You would lose maybe $45.  I supply 8 ohm power resistors so you can burn them in all the time.

My amps are sonically superior for all these reasons:
1. My input and output wires are superior sounding.
2. My binding post bypass system is sonically superior to any binding post.
3. My fuse is sonically superior
4. My modules are mounted on plates of copper and one quarter inch thick aluminium
5. All of my chassis panels are damped with constained layer damping material.
6. I have no power switch.....all switches degrade sound.
7. Here is a biggie.......my amps are dual mono.  No interaction between the channels.  Mucho better.
8. Another biggie......My IceEdge modules are modified.  Much more pure info.
9. Option for two power cords so if you have a dedicated line for each channel you will get better sound.

If you have not done all what I do then you have no idea how good these IceEdge modules are.  Stock stereo modules in a box are fine......but what I do is sonically in another league. Even if you purchased two Nord amps to run mono ($3300+) they would not be anywhere in the league with my dual mono stereo ($2000) amp.
