An old customer says these cables replaced his far more expensive Zen Wave and TWL cables.  I believe they have a money back gaurantee

Using digital attenuation can degrade the sound.  Even the 32 bit attenuator built into the ESS DACs is not great.  There are 64 bit attenuators built into some software and these are probably fine.  If you run your digtial source directly into an amp then you need great volume control.  I run my modded Oppo 205 directly into my modded IceEdge module amps.  However, I have way to much gain so have to attenuate a lot.  As an option on my amps I am adding a 10 and 20 db pad so that you can use less digital attenuation.  The best is to use no digital attenuation using a ESS DAC.  A very transparent way to run a balanced out analog or digital source into a balanced amp is to use the GoldPoint attenuators.  They use very transparent resistors and if you just need one input you will get the best sound as even switching degrades the sound.  You could also hardwire you interconnects into the box and have even better sound.  You could also buy the 4 pole attenuator seperately and mount it in your own box or even inside your amp.  check out:

The Yeti 400 is the bomb.  Using it to power my modded Oppo 205.  Mo betta imaging and ambience.  However, there are some minor issues:

1.  You cannot use the 400 watter with a high powered amp (even a low drain switching amp) as it will shut off when seeing the input surge.

2.  The fan comes on and is annoying....even with just 45 watts drain......the way to fix this is to remove the top, bottom and back covers and make sure the temperature sensor under the battery does not touch the battery.....once doing this the fan never comes on and it is cool as a cucumber.

3. The AC output receptacles are too close to each other so two audiophile cords using large plugs won't fit.  One would have to be a smaller molded plug.

Cable Risers:  Very important to get your cables (all cables) off the floor.  Here is an example of a cheap cardboard one I made years ago in a few minutes.  You can also make them out of 4 chopsticks or other sticks formed into a teepee type structure .
